For the serious Surfers we have Croyde and Newquay beaches, where quality break waves are equal to anywhere in the World.
We have Bude and Saunton Sands, where slower breaking waves are ideal for beginners and long boarders.
People of any age can learn. Boards and wet suits can be rented at most beaches. And, if you are not quite that adventurous, then boogie boarding or kayaking may be more for you? Either way, you can learn in groups or individually with fully qualified instructors. Lessons are usually a half or day long courses.
