The location of West Venn offers the cyclist plenty of attractive and exhilarating cycle routes. From Holsworthy, The National Cycle Network no. 3 can be joined; taking you to Hatherleigh in the north and Cornwall to the south. The Eggesford Forest route offers off-road through the Forestry Commission plantations; or the Holsworthy-Black Torrington route will take you through delightful quiet hamlets, to name but a few
