West Venn is close to the village of Ashwater, an ideal location to explore the many attractions that both Devon and Cornwall have to offer.

Nearby are the award winning family beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay. Exciting theme parks, steam railways and animal parks can all be found only a short distance away.  As can bowling, swimming pools, the cinema and go-karting.

For the more adventurous, you could make the most of the wonderful range of country pursuits in the area; Spend the day on one the three moors, Dartmoor, Bodmin and Exmoor, (all only a short drive away); Take a bike ride along the Tarka Trail, over 180 miles in length and in places following the banks of the Taw and Torridge Rivers and the disused railway lines, also making it very popular with walkers.
